Abstract/Introduction:

This document describes the consensus of the Security Services Technical
Committee as to the requirements and use cases for the Security Assertions
Markup Language (SAML) to be created by the Oasis Security Services TC. This is
a draft committee specification document and as such will continue to be
maintained and updated to reflect the work and decisions of the TC throughout
the process of designing SAML.
