see Don's note below for information on hotels and how to get to the Hitachi 
facility. Please note that he will need responses from folks who will be taking 
advantage of the Hitachi rate so that he can secure rooms at the hotel. We will 
be setting up an evite for you to register this information, but just in case 
you don't get an e-vite via e-mail soon, here is the relevant information. (This 
will be my first attempt to set up e-vite and want to be sure I don't miss 
anyone who needs the information).

I can get the following block rate for Hitachi at the 
Double Tree Hotel which is a few miles down the highway from Hitachi.  
Please have people indicate if they want to use this hotel and I will call back 
the hotel to have them reserve a block of rooms.  Also they will need to 
know how many people will be coming in Sunday or Monday and when they will be 
checking out.  Other hotels in the area are the Weston Hotel, near the 
Double Tree, and the Newton Marriot which is a few more exits further away from 
Hitachi.  After I set up the block reservation people will then call in and 
ask for the Hitachi Block Rate.

Double Tree can supply transportation from the hotel to Hitachi for those that 
do not have cars, which I would expect we would not need, but it is available.

Route 93 South to I-90. Go west to Route 128/95 North and exit at Winter Street 
27B. Take the first two rights after the exit and cross over the bridge. Follow 
to First Avenue. The hotel is in front of you.
