Congratulations to all for having gotten the spec through the OASIS
standardization process! I'm sure that I speak for Eve as past chair and
Jeff and myself as the current co-chairs when I say that this would simply
not have been possible without all of the consistently excellent hard work
put in by the TC. Thanks to all.

OASIS members:

I am pleased to announce that SAML v1.0 has been approved by the 
membership of OASIS as an OASIS Standard. The Security Services TC is to 
be congratulated on the outstanding work they have done in developing 
this specification.

The ebXML CPPA specification also received sufficient votes to be
approved, but because it received two negative votes it is being sent
back to the originating TC for their decision on how to address the
negative votes and accompanying comments. The TC has 30 days to make
this decision. I will make a public announcement regarding the CPPA spec
once I have heard back from the TC.
