Possible deprecation of <RespondWith>

Folks,

 

The SSTC would like to know if there are any current or
pending SAML implementations that rely on the <RespondWith> element that is
part of the SAML Protocol Request message.

 

Due to several outstanding issues with defining and
processing this element, the SSTC plans to vote soon on making the <RepondWith>
element a deprecated element in the SAML 1.1 specifications with the intent of
removing it entirely in SAML 2.0.

 

Before doing so, however, we wanted to find out if there are
any implementations that absolutely depend on it.
