RE: [security-services] SAML Authority and Requester Conformance question

Based 
on discussions at yesterday's meeting, I propose the following 
errata/clarification to Table 4 in Saml Conformance.

 

Issue:

 

"A  SAML <x> Authority 
responding to an <y> Query.  E.g., an Attribute Authority responding 
to an Authentication or Authorization Decision Query?  It doesn't seem 
to make sense as authorities should respond to their 
respective queries. So the OPTIONAL items under the authorities should be 
N/A."

 

Resolution:

 

Change the reference from "OPTIONAL" to 
"N/A" under the columns SAML Authentication Authority, SAML Attribute Authority, 
and SAML Authorization Decision Authority in Table 4: 
SAML Authority and Requester 
Matrix.

  query/request/URI from  the first column? So implicitly any browser 
  satisfies the last box (i.e., ability to issue a SAML URI Binding
