The most significant thing I see going forward are new SSO profiles,
possibly quite different, to meet emerging requirements and to align with
work in W3C and possibly longer term in IETF around HTTP authentication.

I would also add to the list of possible WS-* specs that will eventually
need SAML profiling to be useful to anybody but overpaid consultants.
WS-Trust as much if not moreso than WS-SecPol.
