Vote to approve documents as Committee Specifications

To all Members of 
the Security Services TC:

 

The recent 
ballot:

"Shall 
Metadata Profile v1.0, Metadata Extension for Query Requesters v1.0, Protocol 
Extension for Third-Party Requests v1.0, Shared Credentials v1.0 consisting of: 
Protocol Extension for Requested Authentication Context v1.0 and Shared 
Credentials Authentication Context Extension and Related Classes v1.0, and 
Text-Based Challenge/Response Token Authentication Context Class v1.0, 
referenced below be approved as a Committee Specification set by the OASIS 
Security Services (SAML) TC? "

which can be found 
at: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/security/ballot.php?id=1280 

has closed. However, 
it failed to receive sufficient votes to pass.

 

Special majority 
vote requires at least 2/3 of the voting members to vote "yes"; there were 15 
yes votes cast out of a possible 25. In order to pass a total of 17 yes votes 
were necessary.
