HIMSS InterOp Demonstration -- November 17 Deadline is Approaching

Dear OASIS Members,

 

November 17th is just around the corner – the date we
hoped to have a draft list of participants for the upcoming HIMSS ’09
InterOp demo.  As you know, roughly 30,000 physicians, nurses, HIT executives,
pharmacists, vendors, and healthcare IT professionals from around the world
come together each year at this event.  Our InterOp demo is schedule to be
held within their Interoperability Showcase area, of which a guaranteed 15% of
the attendees visit each year (4,500).  This Showcase area will feature
cutting-edge technology and standards in an interactive environment using
clinical scenarios that simulate how health information is seamlessly passed
among care providers.  It’s the perfect opportunity for OASIS
members to demonstrate our work.   

 

In order for us to continue to reserve the InterOp space, we
need (at least) verbal commitments from six participants by the November 17th
deadline.  Attached for your review again is the latest InterOp proposal. 
We would also like to arrange a conference call tomorrow, Friday, 14th at 12:00
ET to answer any & all questions about the event and/or InterOp from
potential participants.  Please don’t hesitate to ask questions in
advance and/or participate on tomorrow’s call.  Thank you in advance
