RE: [tax] Madrid conference XBRL early bird registration ends this week

Harm,

 

I will only be able to attend the TC meeting on the May 18 
and 19.  Is conference registration for the XBRL conference still required? 
Will the hotel venue be the same for the TC meeting?

Dear 
friends,

 

As discussed during 
our last face to face meeting, our next face to face will be in Madrid, 
Spain.

The meeting is 
organised in conjunction to the 13th XBRL conference.

 

The XBRL conference 
starts at may 16 with a public day. On may 17 there is a special interest day. 
On this day one of the tracks is devoted to tax and organised together with 
our committee. Several member of our committee agreed to take part as 
speaker.

 

Because the early 
bird registration period closes at the end of this week, member of Tax-xml might 
consider to register at the early bird rate.

 

TC members who 
perform "speaker duties" do not have to pay on the day they 
speak.

 

Our regular TC 
meeting takes place on Thursday and Friday; May 18 and 19. The location 
-hopefully- can be announced shortly.

 

The Hotel venue of 
the XBRL conference might be interesting for member of our TC as well. The cut 
of day for the special rate is May 1.

Hotel facilities in 
Madrid are not among the cheapest in Europe I am afraid.
