[tc-announce] Results of OASIS voting: ebXML Messaging specification

OASIS members:

Voting for consideration of the ebXML Messaging Committee
Specification as an OASIS Standard ended yesterday. The vote did reach
quorum, and the majority of votes were affirmative. The ballots may be
examined at
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/tc-voting/200207/maillist.html

Because there was a negative ballot the TC must now consider a number
of options defined by the OASIS TC Process
(http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process.shtml#sec2). The TC has
30 days to do so. As soon as I hear from the TC I will notify the
OASIS membership of the TC's decision and announce whether we have a
new OASIS Standard or not.
