results of AVDL voting

OASIS members:

The ballot to approve the Application Vulnerability Description Language 
(AVDL) v1.0 specification as an OASIS Standards has closed.

The specification received sufficient affirmative votes to be approved, 
but because there was a negative vote the TC must decide within 30 days 
how to proceed; this is in accordance with the OASIS TC Process at 
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process.php#standard. I will 
announce whether the specification is approved as an OASIS Standard once 
I am informed of the TC's decision.

Thanks to those OASIS members who reviewed the specifications and cast 
ballots. The ballot and results of voting may be viewed by members at
