Result of Voting on WS-Federation v1.2 as OASIS Standard

OASIS members:

The ballots for approval of Web Services Federation Language (WS- 
Federation) Version 1.2  as an OASIS Standard (announced at [1]) has  
closed.  There were sufficient affirmative votes to approve the  
specification.  However, because there were some negative votes, the  
OASIS Web Services Federation (WSFED) Technical Committee must decide  
how to proceed, as provided in the OASIS TC Process, at  http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process-2008-06-19.php#OASISstandard 
. A further announcement will be made to this list regarding their  
disposition of the vote.
