Open Document V1.2 approved as OASIS Standard

OASIS members:

We are pleased to announce that Open Document Format for Office  
Applications (OpenDocument) Version 1.2 has been approved as an OASIS  
Standard[1]. The call to vote can be found at [2].

Congratulations to the members of the Open Document Format for Office  
Applications (OpenDocument) Technical Committee and the community of  
implementers, developers and users who have brought the work successfully to  
culmination. 

A formal announcement from OASIS will be forthcoming.
