XACML v3.0 Committee Specification published by XACML TC

We are pleased to announce the approval and
publication of an OASIS Committee Specification by the members of the OASIS eXtensible
Access Control Markup Language (XACML) TC [1]:

eXtensible Access Control Markup Language (XACML)
Version 3.0

Overview:

This specification defines Version 3.0 of the
eXtensible Access Control Markup Language.

TC Description:

The XACML Technical Committee defines a core XML
schema for representing authorization and entitlement policies.

Members of the XACML TC requested a Special
Majority Vote to approve their committee draft as a Committee Specification.
The committee draft had been released for public review as required by the TC
Process [2]. The votes passed [3], and the approved documents are now available
online in the OASIS Library as referenced above.

Our congratulations to the TC on achieving this
milestone.
