Yes. A project run by the Chamber of Commerce of Panama and
funded by the Inter-American Development Bank has created a
complete set of Excel-based tools for the generation and receipt
of UBL 1.0 documents. This first phase will be rolled out at a
conference in Panama City in November and is intended as a model
for SMEs throughout Latin America. The IDB, which distributes
about 30 billion USD annually for development in the region, is
now considering a second phase of funding that will move all these
tools to UBL 2.0.
