DANISH TRANSPORT REQUIREMENTS REVIEW

After a review of the messages referenced
above, discussions focused on the relationship between “Shipment”
and “Consignment.”

The current UBL model presents a
one-to-one relationship. Going forward there will need to be consideration of
many to one and one to many relationships. Danish Transport Requirements focus
upon Consignments. Next steps need to address: 1.) extending the UBL Consignment
object model with BBIEs dealing with Shipment information entities and 2,) extending
the UBL Shipment object model with BBIEs dealing with Consignment information
entities. 

 

Action: TM to make a first pass at
creating the extensions to Consignment based upon Shipment information appropriate
to the consignment level and extensions to Shipment based upon Consignment
information appropriate to the shipment level.
