Hello UBL TC,

I am pleased to inform you that Carlos Vera Quintana has agreed to
co-chair the UBL Spanish Localization Subcomittee (ESLSC).  Carlos
is CEO of the Corporaci�n Ecuatoriana de Comercio
Electr�nico (CORPECE, http://www.corpece.org.ec/), a non-profit
organization associated with CONATEL (Ecuador) and the Comunidad
Andina de Naciones (CAN, http://www.comunidadandina.org/index.asp).

Adding Carlos as a co-chair of the ESLSC will help us in promoting
the use of UBL in South America.  If any voting member of the UBL
TC objects to this appointment, please register that objection by
mail to this list no later than COB Monday 14 March 2005.
