Hello UBL TC,

I'm pleased to announce the formation of the OASIS UBL Italian
Localization Subcommittee (ITLSC).

The co-chairs of the new ITLSC are Roberto Cisternino (individual
OASIS member) and Fabrizio Sciarra (Brain & Knowledge, http://www.b-k.it).
OASIS members interested in joining the ITLSC should first join
the UBL TC and then contact the co-chairs at the email addresses
given on the ITLSC web page:

The ITLSC joins the UBL Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish
Localization subcommittees in the work of deploying UBL on a
global basis.  In addition to translating the UBL specification
into each local language, the UBL LSCs also contribute
locale-specific business requirements to the work of the UBL TC
and collaborate on the creation and maintenance of the UBL
International Data Dictionary (IDD).  The UBL 1.0 IDD, containing
translations of more than 600 business terms and definitions, is

The ITLSC is expected to add Italian to the IDD when that document
