       No comments.

UBL 2.1 SCHEMAS

    ACTION: PLB to check on Receipt Advice document (missing from
    initial set because not changed from 2.0)

UBL 2.1 CODE LISTS

    PLB: PSC lists 80 percent done; don't know about TSC.

       ACTION (4/7): PLB, GKH, TonyC, Oriol to discuss code list
       categorization.

          Pending.

UBL 2.1 SAMPLE INSTANCES

    PLB: Making good progress -- have samples for most of the PSC
    documents, though a few people have not yet responded to the
    reminder.  It appears that ENEA needs a little more time.

       ACTION: PLB to post the sample instances received so far.

UBL 2.1 DOCUMENTATION

    No change.

UBL 2 XADES PROFILE

    No change.

NDR CHECK

    ACTION (4/7): BH to begin testing schemas using the NIST QoD
    tool.

       Pending.

NDR 2.1

    Tracking item: we will have to review the NDR 2.1 checklist to
    look for possible differences between the present rules and the
    ones arrived at in Montreal.

UBL 2.0 IDD VOL. 2 (PORTUGUESE)

    JB: Jose reports that he has almost completed the Portuguese
    translation of the 2.0 data dictionary.

    PLB: Do we intend to provide translations of the code lists?
    They would be very useful for interface and forms implementers.

    JB: This would be parallel to translations of the data
    dictionary; first we would need to standardize an English
    explanation of every code value (not the same as the code value
    itself, even if the values have, or appear to have, meaning for
    speakers of a given language), then we would need to translate
    all the explanations into all supported languages.

    TonyC: Easily supported in the genericode format if we had the
    resources to do it.

       AGREED that we would welcome the contribution of code value
       explanations and translations.

2010 UBL TC F2F MEETING SCHEDULE

    9-13 August 2010 (the week following Balisage 2010) in
    Montreal: http://www.balisage.net/

    (Preliminary) 7-11 February 2011 at Middle East Technical
    University in Ankara: http://www.metu.edu.tr/

       ACTION (2/24): JB to begin talking to Asuman about this.

    (Suggested) August 2011 Latin America, location TBD

       JB: Checked with ship companies; no way for me to get to any
       of the likely locations.  So LA venue will depend on finding
       another chair for the meeting.

       PLB: How about a UBL International event in Latin America
       instead?  It would be highly appropriate to the goal of
       outreach to Latin American businesses and government.

       KB: Good idea, especially if we have people experienced in
       setting up such an event.

          AGREED to put this on the agenda for discussion with UBL
          International principals over the next few weeks of TC
          meetings.
