the package element contains the following agregate components:
cac:Delivery [0..1]    The delivery of this package.
cac:Pickup [0..1]    The pickup of this package.
cac:Despatch [0..1]    The despatch of this package.

That would give you enough place to put information about these various data related to pickup etc etc.

Also the package element is not a standalone element. Within the context of the document where it is used you can also derive all this information.

So I do not see the need to add additional elements to the package.
