[uddi-dev] Welcome to uddi-dev
Title: Welcome to uddi-dev

Dear members,

Welcome to uddi-dev. The OASIS UDDI Member Section has sponsored and established a public "uddi-dev" list hosted by OASIS for the purpose of supporting activities previously carried out on the uddi-technical list on YahooGroups; uddi-dev will replace uddi-technical. The intent of establishing such a list at OASIS is to foster greater synergy between the UDDI developer and specification communities by "hosting" these two forums within UDDI.org and OASIS where the specification is managed and evolved. We believe that over time this will allow for greater impact and visibility of both communities.

The OASIS uddi-dev mailing list is an open and unmoderated list intended for your use as you explore UDDI and for questions and comments of a technical nature. The archive for this elist can be found at: http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/uddi-dev/.

In order to ease the transition from uddi-technical to uddi-dev, uddi-technical's membership was used to populate the uddi-dev list. To unsubscribe from uddi-dev you may either:

1. Send an email message to the command server at the following email

    address:

and put the single word "unsubscribe" in the body of the message; or

2. Use your web browser to visit the subscription manager located at:

        http://lists.oasis-open.org/unsubscribe

Please note that the UDDI Spec TC (http://oasis-open.org/committees/uddi-spec/) uses the following email distribution lists:

uddi-spec: This is the primary discussion list for UDDI Spec TC members. Subscription and posting to the UDDI Spec TC members' mailing list is open to OASIS members only, but the uddi-spec archives are viewable by the general public. Subscribing to the list does not constitute gaining committee membership; OASIS members must contact the UDDI Spec TC co-chairs to request TC membership.

uddi-spec-comment: This is the "UDDI Spec TC comment and discussion" list for the general public. The general public may post to this list, but you must first subscribe in order to post. To subscribe, send an email message to with the word "subscribe" as the body of the message. The uddi-spec-comment archives are viewable by the general public.
