[uiml] Final Merged Version of the UIML 4.0 Specification
is
here...

This
version contains all the comments and content that the TC has assembled for
inclusion in version 4.0.

Please
take a look at this and make sure there are no obvious formatting or content
issues.  I will investigate the process forward for setting up the vote to
make this a committee draft!

One question (paraphrased from Jo):  Should we use something like d-alias for defining a alias
(see section 6.6.3) instead of the alias element both for defining and using
aliases?  Also where should we define these aliases (in the vocabulary)?

Subject: [uiml] DELAYED - Final Version of
the 4.0 Specification is coming...

Hello
all,

I
apologize but I will need a day or two extra on the specification
revisions.  My son broke his leg (the joys of being 2 years old!) and
taking care of him has reduced the time I expected to have on this.  I will
have the draft revised by Wednesday and will post for final comments.

Thank
you for your understanding,

James Helms

I have
a proposal due on the 6th, so the 4th or 5th work best for me as
well...

How
about Wednesday the 5th at the usual time?

Thank
you,

Hi all,

for me unfortunately, september is almost booked
out:

I am traveling to Lancaster from sunday 2nd to
tuesday 4th and to Singapore and Hong Kong from 7th to 29th.

So only the 4th (maybe), the5th, and the 6th are
possible to me. Wednesday is my preferred day. For the rest

of the month, I might be able to call in via VoIP
but cannot promise.

All the best,

Robbie.

Hello
  all,

I wanted to thank
everyone for looking at the specification and for the changes and comments you
made.  I am in the process of making a final pass through to clean up the
remaining comments and merge the changes.  I should be done with this by
  the end of the week.

Given this, I
would like for the TC to meet next week to voice any final concerns or
comments.  After that we will pursue getting the specification voted on
by the committee as soon as possible.  Please respond with any times you
would be available next week to meet.

Jean, would this
be an opportunity to try out www.doodle.ch .  I have
still not had the chance to use it, but we can try it out if appropriate
  here.

Best,

James
