(Reminder) Standards for Smart Applications workshop@ECAI 2012: deadline approaching

This short note to remind you that the
paper submission deadline for the ECAI workshop on "Standards for
Smart Applications" (S4SA) is May 28: that is, next Monday [1].

If you intend to submit a paper, but
you are not sure if you can make the deadline, please contact me
directly (see contact info on the workshop Web site).

Also, the submission deadline is right
after the notification of acceptance for RuleML (May 27), and one
week after the notification of acceptance for ECAI (today 21 May):
if your paper was rejected and you think that it is relevant to S4SA but
you do not have the time to adapt it to the specific focus of the workshop,
just add an explanation in front why it is relevant and how you will refocus
it if accepted, and submit it. In most cases, we expect that it will be
enough to help the PC decide about its value for S4SA.
