I am done with my edits - Handing the Pen back
Diane et. al, I am done with the spec edits for the issues 218, 231, 223 and 123 (2nd resolution). I here with hand the pen back to the next editor. A couple of notes on 123 edits: This reflects the changes described at: http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/wsbpel/200512/msg00074.html The spec text proposed in the above accounts for changes for 223. The changes describe the implications and use of messageExchange attribute with Inbound Message Activities. The resolution above for 123 2nd part proposes specific spec text changes in section 10.4 (formerly section 11.4) viz. Providing Web Service Operations. I have not deviated from proposed spec text changes. I have however recast the resolution for "Issue 221: missingReply checks to scope termination semantics" at appropriate location in issue 123 resolution. After having applied the 123 resolution to section 10.4, I am not quite happy with the way overall description for <reply> activity and the constraints applicable to it, at different levels including w.r.t. use of correlation sets and the messageExchange attribute. I know we agreed that the previous constraints that, no more than one <receive>s are waiting for a message associated with the same partner link, port type, operation, and correlation sets will remain in force and the addition of messageExchnage does not change that (it is just an additional constraint). However the spec text does come out quite incoherent and the this subtlety is not clearly brought forth IMO.
