I missed the discussion. Can someone explain why we are using the 'public'
comment list for TC communication?

The way I checked on it last week, was to refer to a recent announcement
of a new TC from Karl Best, specifically this paragraph:

This worked fine for me right after the face to face, but doesn't work
today. Hopefully, they will fix it soon, for those who aren't on the
wsdm-comment email list now.
