Car pooling may also make sense as most attendees will be on the same
schedule.

Hello,

The Marriot is about 1 mile from BEA's Boulder office, and there is a
nice paved walkway for most of the distance between the hotel and BEA.
I have personally walked it many times- it is probably a 30 to 45
minute walk, and would be a nice walk when our weather is good, as it
usually is.  However, Boulder in early April could be sunny and warm or
getting a foot of wet snow.  There are busses that run around Boulder,
but you would have to walk halfway or transfer between busses to make
it between BEA and the hotel-- there is no single bus that goes door to
door, two different busses would be involved.

Overall, I think a car is probably the best way to go but if you like
walking it is certainly possible to go without a car.

I’ve booked

Nate, I’m
trying to figure out if I
should rent a car for the week at the airport or if I can get by with
airport
shuttle and other means of transportation (e.g. walking) between
Marriot and
BEA.  What are your thoughts on transportation?

Attached is the hotel and
transportation information.

Our office manager says the hotel is filling up, so you should make
your
reservations as soon as possible. Even if you do not have approval yet,
you
should make your reservation, and may cancel it later if needed.

There airport code is DEN.

Lufthansa offers a daily non-stop flight from Frankfurt and Munich.
Additionally, United and BA offer
non-stop flights from Heathrow. Also, there are many US
transfer points (however, you
will have to clear immigrations and customs at your port of entry).

the best bet is to connect through one of the European airports listed
above.

Note: we will be on Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) which is UCT-6.
