[xcbf-comment] Errors in example encoding
An ASN.1 expert detected errors in an example XML encoding

and sent me this message so that these problems could be corrected

in the XCBF document.

Phil Griffin

XCBF Chair

In XCBF (20 January 2003) Section 8.1, we
have detected two non compliances with X.680 (07/2002) and X.693 (12/2001) :

- The tag <BiometricSyntax> should
be removed, as in a SEQUENCE OF CHOICE, the choice tag shall be omitted

- In
Canonical XER, <purpose>6</purpose> should be replaced by <purpose><audit/></purpose>
as enumerated values shall be encoded (both in basic and canonical XER) using
the tag form and not the numerical form.

BRs,

Michel Périn
