Markus just returned from the 4th GET-D summit in Berlin: http://get-d.net/

Blockchain was a big topic, and Markus held a workshop on “Identity on the Blockchain”.
DIDs (Decentralized Identifiers), DID Objects, and their Relevance to XDI
We will continue our discussion from last week about DIDs (decentralized identifiers), which are part of a Small Business Innovation Research grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on blockchain identity on which Drummond Reed and Les Chasen are doing R&D.

We will go deeper into the requirements for DIDs and DID objects.
