Types of codes

Hi everyone,

The next SC teleconference is Dec-13 (next week) and I'd like us to settle the question of <ph>/<pc>/<sc>/<ec> vs <ph>/<sc>/<ec> vs <ph>/<pc> vs <ph>, so we can move forward.

We'll try to have a consensus on that during the meeting. If we don't we'll have a ballot.

Currently we have the <ph>/</sc>/<ec>/<pc> option in place based on the many talks we had since we started and the requirements we outlined. If you think this should be changed to a smaller set of elements, please start making your case by email before the meeting.
