Is Wrox wholely owned by Wrox or a subsid of a much
larger concern?
I think those that had to curtail activities may have been those
where across the board cost cutting was going on throughout
a corporation that projected flat or negative earnings.
That isn't an excuse for bad business manners but it might
indicate why some paid more attention to that than others.

I have been treated very well by Wrox. I was half way through a book and
nothing changed.
Already working on a new one.
Can't say anything about other publishers, but have no complaint over them.
