RE: [xml-dev] Does SAX make sense?

I must be old, or too much influenced by early days wasted doing
embedded processing.  Callbacks seem like a perfectly natural way of
doing business to me- no more inherently difficult than any other
programming model.
I quite like event-oriented parsers- I only worry about the events I
care about, ignore the rest and am generally quite happy.

Totally subjective, of course, and based on my own background.
