Most people code for the platform. And the platform dont support
technology #41 and technology #42

But you can build a bridge from today  tech #4 to tech #127.  You just
need to emulate whatever the hell is HyTime with javascript as a
automagic emulation layer that people can drop'n'forget.  And you need
to build good documentation about how to use that, and how cool/simple
coding become.
Then some people will cross that bridge, and maybe settlers build
build a city on the other continent.

Javascript is broken, but you can fix it with more javascript :D
