MEETING MINUTES OF BDXR TC MEETING 14 NOVEMBER 2012 ATTENDANCE Roger Bass Kenneth Bengtsson (chair) Pim van der Eijk Sander Fieten Giorgia Lodi Dale Moberg Alfio Raia Sven Rasmussen Susanne Wigard RECAP OF LAST MEETING'S DISCUSSION The attending members recapitulated last meeting’s discussion about taking a pragmatic approach to the TC’s work by giving priority to publishing specifications that are closest to being ready, i.e. Metadata Service Location and the specifications to be submitted by PEPPOL. Everybody agreed to this approach. We discussed whether an end-to-end tunneling protocol can be within the scope of the 4-corner model if this is to be considered as a peer-to-peer protocol with multiple hops. It was debated that an ebMS3 end-to-end tunneling protocol may be more appropriate for the ebMS TC. While the general discussion was without consensus, we agreed for the BDXR TC to only focus on an ebMS3 profile between gateways for now, as this is directly mentioned in the TC scope, and then move on from there to see if there is an interest in an end-to-end tunneling profile. Sander and Susanne agreed to be anchors for the ebMS3 gateway-to-gateway profile. CONNECT PROTOCOL COMPONENTS We went through the components in Sander’s diagram published in the email: https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/bdxr/201210/msg00012.html Kenneth thought the diagram to be complete based on discussions to date. Roger had some comments and will discuss the diagram in more detail in a separate call with Sander. Roger and Sander will decide on a time for the call and will share meeting time and location with the TC mailing list for those interested in joining.
