Greetings all!! Here's what Joann and I have proposed for agenda items for our meeting on Monday. If you have additional items, please pass them along and I'll pop them right in. Bob's troubleshooting fix (work-around) "I would like to put some time on the agenda to discuss complex troubleshooting. I ran into some difficulties modeling a scenario, and asked that the DITA TC consider loosening the content model so that troubleSolution would be optional (zero or more) rather than required (one or more). This proposal was challenged, and I withdrew it after Eliot Kimber suggested a reasonable workaround to the problem I was having" [Bob]. 2. SC member engagement email Stan is drafting an email to be sent to all members of the SC to encourage participation in the SC. The content builds directly on the list of 1.3 Adoption and 1.4 Next-Gen discussions that we have had over the past couple of months. Stan will forward it to currently active SC members this evening (Friday/EST). 3. Discussion -- organizing local DITA TechComm get-togethers Stan has some experiences to share re: organizing a Boston-area DITA get-together about successes, obstacles, puzzles, and RFEs. He would love to get feedback from the SC on the idea and its applicability elsewhere. 4. DITA 1.3 webinar planning: Joann needs some targeted support for the proposed DITA 1.3 webinar sponsored jointly by the DITA TC and DITA Adoption TC.
