A couple of open source projects use DocBook to generate docs and man  
pages. See the following directory for one such example (not  
authoritative though):

http://refdb.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/refdb/refdb/trunk/doc/

All xml files like foo.{1|8}.xml are man page sources. Some of these  
were "doclifted" from nroff sources, while others were created from  
scratch.
