Dear Friends and 
Colleagues,
 
    I 
have resigned as the Business Process Specification Schema (BPSS) project team 
lead, effective today, February 19th, 2003.  I have higher priority 
obligations that include my family, a lecturer position at U.C. Berkeley, and a 
book project.  As such, I no longer have the time or energy that has 
been needed to move the BPSS project forward.
 
    
I plan to contribute as a participant and observer in the various 
TMG efforts as time permits.
 
    
Thank you for all your support over the past years of ebXML, eBTWG, and, 
now, TMG.
