Subject: [election-services] RE: High-Level Process Model
Sorry I could not be there today but am working on the DTLR e-voting pilots
- the process model attached maps well on to what we've been looking at for
our proposal - the multi-channel./multi-election approach. One area that I
feel needs to be built on is provision of interfaces for ongoing
management/support during an election period - this includes online access
from the polling station, Voter Support Centres etc - these will have their
own security issues.
Hope this helps
John

Subject: High-Level Process Model
Hi,
Good to see people at the meeting today - even though there was much
dissent I feel it was a very productive session.
On the train home I was thinking about how to rejig the process
model.... here's my take attached. (Available in word format if
required).
I've included the inter-database communications for the electoral
roll database and I've also tried a new approach for dealing with the
different ways of voting. Audit was a cop-out to the side but I've
included reporting...
Look forward to your comments.
regards,
Jason
