2017 Steering Committee appointments, nominations and election

Greetings the Emergency Member Section Steering Committee has appointed and elected representatives that require your review this year. Both TCs must reconfirm your TC representative (or select a new one) and report your vote to [email protected]. org before the end of September There are also four at-large seats eligible for nomination, including the seat recently vacated by Patti Aymond on her retirement. These at-large members provide for community-wide representation in addition to the committee-specific representation on the Steering Committee. Nominations for the at-large seats start on September 1 and will close on 15 September. NOTE the policy does not provide for the nomination period to be extended--all nominations MUST be received by September 15. You may nominate yourself or any current Member Section Member by email to sc-election@oasis-open-open. org Nominations must be accepted by the nominee, by email to both [email protected] and [email protected]. org Nominees are encouraged to share some background information to help the voters know who they are. If there are more than four nominations, voting will take place 16-30 September via a closed ballot. Otherwise, the at-large candidates are automatically selected and will hold their seat for two years.
