Jeff Waters will continue to serve until September 2020. In addition, the active TCs associated with the Emergency Management Member Section may select a TC Member to be their representative on the Steering Committee. Any representatives selected by the TCs should be identified before 11 October. Nominations may be made by any Member Section Participant by email to [email protected] TCs selecting their representative should report their selection to the same email address before 11 October. Nominations must be accepted by the nominee by the end of the nomination period in order to be considered valid. If more than 4 nominations are received and the open seats are contested, a 14-day election process will follow this nomination period. Participants who wish to know more are encouraged to review the Steering Committee portal https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/emergency-sc/ for recent email and meeting notes describing their activity focus. And of course, feel welcome to bring any questions you have to my attention.
