The Messaging Subcommittee convened by telephone at noon Eastern time 
on Tuesday, 4 January 2005.  Participating in the call were:

Art Botterell
Rex Brooks
Sukumar Dwarkanath
Gary Ham
Tom Merkle
Michelle Raymond
Rob Torshan
Kon Wilms

The Subcommittee approved the posted draft CAP 1.1 specification with 
two amendments:

1) The word "actually" was removed from the definition of the 
"Observed" value for <certainty>

2) A note about backward compatiblity with CAP 1.0 was added to the 
notes for <certainty>

There was conversation about possibly amending the language for 
<derefUri> and about possible uses for the deleted <password> 
element, but these were declined.

The Subcommittee voted to advance CAP 1.1 to the full Technical 
Committee.  In the absence of any other pressing business, the 
Subcommittee adjourned at approximately 12:45 Eastern time.
