Poll for rescheduling the KMIP interop call
All,
Tim Hudson suggested we move the KMIP interop call from the current time on Tuesday to Thursday, either before or after the general KMIP TC call, to make it more convenient for him to join. A poll of the opinions of the people on today's interop call indicated that this would be possible. However, we would need to find a time that suits everyone, or at least most of us. We have four suggestions on how to proceed. Based on the feedback from the people on today's call, I would suggest the first option. Please let me know of your availability for the different time slots by the end of the week. If the time changes, I will send out the rescheduled meeting invitation on Monday next week.
1. Half an hour before the KMIP TC call every Thursday (16:30 CET, 10:30 EDT, 07:30 PDT)
- OK for everyone on the call (Mathias, Bruce, Krishna, Stan, John, Shyam)
2. Immediately after the KMIP TC call every Thursday (18:00 CET, 12:00 EDT, 09:00 PDT, same time as the current interop call)
- Conflict for John (HP) every week, conflict for Stan every other week, OK for everyone else
3. Biweekly at the same time as now (every other Tuesday at 18:00 CET)
- OK for everyone on the call, not preferrable for Tim
- Rationale was that everyone could still meet at once, not so much going on at the moment so we could still afford doing biweekly calls
4. Continue as before (every Tuesday at 18:00 CET)
- OK for everyone except Tim
PS John, I think I said that the first option would be 8:30am your time when in fact I believe it would be 7:30am (1,5h earlier than our current interop call time). Please let me know if this changes your availability.
PPS. I hope I didn't mess up anything else with the local times I quoted - the normative reference points are the time of the TC call and the time of the interop call
