interop status
My KMIP client works against the EMC interop server for the supported EMC server
use cases: 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 3.1.4.
Those use cases (and more) also work for the HP and IBM servers as previously noted.
For reference, different servers have made different choices as to whether or
not to include the OPERATION in the failed operation response in 3.1.4 step 9
and 11.

It is marked as optional to return on failure in Table 190 of the specification
but it does add additional issues with determining if a response is correct when
there is variability in this sort of handling. It is required "if not a failure".
I'll raise this post 1.0 as a suggestion to make the behaviour in this instance
fixed - i.e. either always include the OPERATION or never include the OPERATION
value. Personally I'd tend to always include it for consistency with other
redundant information which is returned from the server.
Thanks,
Tim.
