I would like to echo John's concern that too much time has been spent on "process" type concerns.

While I have not been fully engaged in this Technical Committee, there is a core group who are.  I think they are doing fine work and are trying to complete the new specifications in the best interests of everyone.

I think it is important for those of us who, like me, aren't fully engaged, to tread the fine line between looking for a better understanding of things we miss from not attending every meeting, to impeding the progress of the Technical Committee.  I think we can trust those who are fully engaged to be doing fine work in the best interest of everyone.
