I probably should have been a little bit more precise. MTOM describes
how XOP is layered into SOAP HTTP transport. XOP is a serialisation of
XML that looks like a MIME multipart/related package attachment. MIME =
Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions. So roughly speaking, it is XML
that resembles an email attachment.
