I believe that the change is not a substantive one and only reflects the
reality that we are not omnipotent and omnipresent. We will need an explicit
statement from a member of OASIS management, that this is a technical
clarification and that it does not affect the substance or in any way narrow
any interpretation of this clause in terms of assuring that our standards
remain open. I can live with this language as can John Greacen based on my
phone call yesterday. Dragging this out is not improving things. To push
further at this time, I believe is not a good idea.
