*	OASIS Board action on voting rights and rules - Karl Best - Talked
about in the last OASIS Board Meeting and not resolved - Karl will be
placing it on the agenda for 1/27/2003 Board Meeting with the statement that
it is delaying this member sections elections. [Bergeron, Donald L. (LNG)]
Done, however, on hold until board decides on "who can vote" issue. Karl is
working it with the OASIS Board.

Don,

1. Attached are the Actuals for the OASIS LegalXML Member Section in Q4
2002.  Please review and let us know if you have any questions.

2. Attached also is the proposed budget for the OASIS LegalXML Member
Section in 2003.  Please review the forecasted revenue to see if you agree
with the assumptions we made based on renewal rates and attracting new
members into LegalXML.  You will see that the budget is based on the
assumption that all accrued revenue to LegalXML is consumed in expenses for
the year.  That was done to nullify any retained income from a member
section showing up in the budget for the OASIS managed portion of the total
corporate finances.  Let me know if you have any questions.  We need to know
if you want to forecast any of the "Other Expenses" line to show up in a
specific expense category, e.g. travel, or meeting expenses, and if so, in
what month.  This is not critical to get the expense spread accurate by
account line item or month, but more as a tool for you to use in managing
and forecasting your expenses throughout the year.  You will note that we
prepared this 2003 budget with the 2002 Actuals side-by-side to allow for
year-to-year comparison.
