I don't have any leads on tech writers, so anyone you could suggest 
would be better than whatever I could come up with -- espcially given 
that the projects you have in mind would require some domain knowledge.

So I suggest that the member section steering committee make a selection 
based on whatever criteria you feel is best, then make that 
recommendation to Patrick, who must approve this expenditure and will 
write the contract with the contractor.
