I suggest that the strategic plan for this calendar year consist of these four components:

Define the role of the Steering Committee

Ensure that the Steering Committee meets as needed to provide leadership for the Member Section

Create Mission, Vision, Goals, and funds allocation policy statements

Adopt strategic plan

Adopt procedure for monitoring work of Member Section TCs

Provide financial support for specification development by TCs

Travel funds for key public sector members

Funding for technical writers for requirements and specification development

Ensure that all TCs are actively involved in developing specifications or are disbanded

Revitalize Legislation TC
