Subject: Request for vote on pending matters

I am aware of the following outstanding issues needing resolution by the Steering Committee.  I suggest that the Steering Committee act by email on these matters, recording your vote on each matter in a response to this email.  I will be glad to try to schedule a conference call if anyone so requests.  It is also possible to postpone action on items 2 and 5 until Las Vegas if anyone so requests.

1.                   Revisions of and approval of my proposed Steering Committee comments on the proposed OASIS membership agreement, which must be submitted on Monday, November 15th.

2.                   Suggestions from Steering Committee members on persons to approach to get the following Member Section participants to re up their OASIS memberships:

Louisiana Supreme Court - Contributor non-Profit

Minnesota Crimnet/Dept of Public Safety - Contributor non-Profit              Mortgage Bankers Association of America - Contributor non-Profit              New York State Attorney General - Contributor non-Profit

TSO (The Stationary Office) - Contributor >10

Crimson Logic (North America) - Contributor > 10

I would suggest that I approach Louisiana, that John Ruegg approach Minnesota and New                                 York Attorney General, and that Robert O’Brien approach Crimson Logic.  Any

                        suggestions for the other two?

3.                   We have the following expense approval requests for the Las Vegas Steering Committee meeting:

                        Robin Gibson                 $338

                        Dave Marvit                      538

                        John Messing                  543

                        Roger Winters                 734

                        Total                            $2153

Our 2004 budget allocates $3000 for this meeting.

Three members have voted to approve these requests – Cabral, Messing, and Powell.

I believe that Debi Miller-Moore reserved the right to request reimbursement for the                                      expenses of remaining in Las Vegas from the time of her presentation early in the E-Courts                                 Conference to Friday.  I suggest that we hold off on formal approval of these requests until                                we receive word form Debi.

4.                   Approval of TC meeting expenses associated with Las Vegas.  With the meeting room issue resolved, I am not aware of any TC reimbursement requests associated with the Las Vegas face to face meeting(s).  Robin – Am I missing something here?

5.                   Dave Marvit’s request to retroactively approve reimbursement for Zoran Milosevic’s expenses in the amount of $433.01 incurred in attending the September meeting of the Contracts TC in San Francisco.
