Here is a more specific definition of the process that the ECFTC small group will be performing, if any of you wished
such information.  It is Scott Came’s description of his role as facilitator.  



I have obtained email approval of the expenditure from Don
Bergeron, Debi Miller-Moore, Roger Winters, Robin
Gibson, John Messing, Jim Cabral, and me.  I have not yet heard from John Ruegg nor Dave Marvit.  



1.  I will transform the existing message types strawman, as modified by agreed-to comments (discussed
today and in a call perhaps later this week) into a domain model (in the form
of a UML class diagram), for review by the domain
expert group next week in Seattle.


2.  I will facilitate the exchange document development process' domain
modeling and GJXDM mapping steps during the June 2-3  meeting. 
The outcome of that meeting should be a strawman
domain model (one or more class diagrams) that represents the consensus of the
domain expert group, as well as a spreadsheet containing as many of the domain
model elements mapped to GJXDM structures (or
extensions) as possible.  Since it is quite possible we will not complete
the mapping by the end of June 3, as facilitator I will ensure that the expert
group tackles the most risky or controversial mappings first.


3.  By noon on Monday June 6, I will have ready for TC
review a new strawman message types
specification, that contains the graphical domain model, definitions of all
classes, properties, and relationships in that model, and a spreadsheet
representing a mapping of the model elements to GJXDM. 
If desired, I will facilitate a TC review of the
model and mapping in .
